The Shelf-Bintang Group has three owned and operated 150HP SMD Quasar work class ROVs with tether management systems that support our core operations, as well as units under long term arrangement. As well performing routine subsea work, the units have been successfully used in extreme environments such as oil recovery and have operated to depths over 2000m performing IRM and intervention duties.

Two Panther 925 XT Plus Light work class ROVs are part of the Shelf Subsea ROV fleet to perform general light construction roles and Inspection and Survey works. The units are excellent where access inside platform jacket structures is required, being compact enough to access through gaps in the jacket members. The Panthers are zone rated and can operate to depths of a 1000m and deployed though a cage with tether management system and have a range of tooling available.
Two Saab Seaeye Falcon ROVs and a Lynx make up the observation class ROVs. Robust free-swimming units, they are light, portable and perfect for observation tasks supporting subsea construction and IRM work scopes.
Two Video Ray Eyeball ROVs are ‘suitcase’ ROVs for jobs where light observation and portability are key job requirements. Perfect units where shore-based launching is required to perform shallow below water observation, making them excellent units for a range of civils projects.
Shelf has a dedicated in-house team to support our ROV operations from planned maintenance to operation crews. We carry a full suite of spares, have a suite of ROV tooling, and our units follow a PMS to ensure maximum up time.
