Our integrated Management System (IMS) defines and delivers clear HSEQ accountability within our organisation
It is independently certified and compliant with the International Standards Organisation (ISO).
It delivers a consistent and cohesive approach to all operations.
It is aligned throughout the regions in which we operate.
Team members in all disciplines are familiar with our HSEQ program and contribute to our consistently high performance.
Leadership engagement forms an integral part of our HSEQ philosophy. We firmly believe that true success can only be attained when leaders actively participate in shaping and fostering a culture of safety and responsibility. Our leaders are committed to engaging with all levels of the organization, empowering employees, and promoting a shared responsibility for HSEQ matters. This ensures that every member of our team understands the importance of their role in maintaining a safe and sustainable workplace.
Visible support from the top is not just a buzzword for us; it's a core value we live by. Our senior management consistently demonstrates their dedication to HSEQ by actively championing best practices, allocating necessary resources, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This top-down approach permeates throughout the organization, inspiring every employee to take personal ownership of HSEQ objectives and strive for excellence in their respective roles.
Clear guidance is the compass that steers our organization towards its HSEQ goals. We believe that effective communication and well-defined procedures are the keys to success. Through meticulous planning and comprehensive training, we ensure that all our employees have the knowledge and tools they need to operate safely and efficiently. This not only safeguards our workforce but also contributes to the long-term sustainability of our business and the communities in which we operate.
At our core, we understand that HSEQ is not just a set of policies and procedures; it is a mindset, a way of life. As we navigate the complexities of the modern world, our commitment to HSEQ remains unyielding. We strive to protect the well-being of our people, the environment, and the communities we serve, while delivering exceptional products and services.
The Shelf Group acknowledges that the impact of climate change on a global scale requires the Group to continue to strive to reduce its carbon footprint. Shelf has an objective to be carbon neutral by 2050 in line with the United Nations agreement. The Group has the privilege of working in the marine environment across the globe and is focused on reducing emissions whilst sustainably growing the business for the benefit of all stakeholders.
We are increasing our involvement in autonomous assets which will assist the Group in completing projects with lower emissions levels and will improve productivity by reducing the use of larger assets. Shelf is examining ways to increase its involvement in energy transition market including wind and the decommissioning of traditional energy assets.
We engage and train our people in our HSE systems and processes with a focus on employee wellbeing.
