Saturation and Air Diving (Systems)
The Shelf-Bintang Group has an extensive range of diving systems both installed on our long-term chartered vessels and ready for deployment on vessels of opportunity.
Portable Saturation Diving System
SAT001 was designed and built by ARC Controls Inc, to ABS classification rules and holds a full class certificate. The 12-man saturation diving system is maintained and certified in accordance with IMCA design guidance, is IMCA D 024 Compliant, and DMAC028 ready.
The system consists of dive and saturation control, divers hot water units, divers gas reclaim, environmental control units and potable water, all machinery is supplied by Divex/JFD. The system has 3 living chamber, 1 x 6 diver, 2 x 3 diver, this arrangement allows for split lever saturation projects and comes with a 10ft LSP with dedicated ABS classed generator for LSP secondary supply. There is also a High-Definition video capturing and editing package. It can be configured for moonpool launch (comes with cursors), or side deployment with LARS.
A tested and configured HRF is available.
The system has been utilized in an array of different regions, Australia, South America, North America, and Asia and has been deployed on MSVs to give either long or short-term conversion of vessel to Sat Diving capability and has been installed on barges.
The system has proven itself to be very effective in all climates with minimal down time and high productivity and is a perfect unit for barge deployment for Salvage support.

AIR DIVING SYSTEMS
Shelf-Bintang has 8 Nitrox/Air Diving Systems were designed and built in Perth, Australia, in Shelf Subsea`s own facility and 1 ABS classed Air Dive System, and 2 x IMCA zone rate Air Dive systems. The systems are fully self-contained and only requires an electric power to be supplied by the vessel or a standalone generator. The systems are compliant with IMCA D 023.
This air Nitrox/Air diving systems were built with the Nuvair nitrox generator eliminating the need for Nitrox resupply runs and the need to carry multiply different mixes to cover all water depths.
We have 5 x dual stage Launch and Recovery systems. A 20ft Machinery container with Quincy 5120 LP Compressor with 210l receiver, Coltri Tropical HP Compressor, Nuvair Voyager 4 self-contained Nitrox generator, HP Nitrox storage – 3 banks of 4cylinder, Bauer B-Kool gas chiller and Drager Regard gas monitoring system. The package includes a Dive Control container which incorporates DDC, 2 x digital video recorders, Blackbox, Video overlay, Diver comms units,4 x video monitors, Atmospheric analyser ,3 x Air/Gas analysers.
In addition, we have 2 x standalone DDC chambers.

SRP (SCUBA REPLACEMENT)
Shelf-Bintang have 5 x Scuba replacement systems perfect for deployment of divers performing shallow work especially around FPSO/FSOs. We can also provide the craft that Scuba replacement diving can performed off.
SHORE BASED HYPERBARIC RESCUE FACILITIES (HRF)
To support our diving operations, Shelf-Bintang have two 12 man, 300m rated HRFs. The units can top or end mate, have entry lock with shower and toilet facilities, Environmental Control units, Control Van, and fitted with hot water systems.
The units conform to IMCA guidelines, and have tested prefabricated mating spools for SPHLs on the Southern Star and Fire Opal
