Sustainability

The Shelf Group acknowledges that the impact of climate change on a global scale requires the Group to continue to strive to reduce its carbon footprint. Shelf has an objective to be carbon neutral by 2050 in line with the United Nations agreement. The Group has the privilege of working in the marine environment across the globe and is focused on reducing emissions whilst sustainably growing the business for the benefit of all stakeholders.

We are increasing our involvement in autonomous assets which will assist the Group in completing projects with lower emissions levels and will improve productivity by reducing the use of larger assets. Shelf is examining ways to increase its involvement in energy transition market including wind and the decommissioning of traditional energy assets.

We engage and train our people in our HSE systems and processes with a focus on employee wellbeing. The employee assistance program supports the group to have a diverse and inclusive organization where safety is the most important factor in our work. The Group has several policies designed to deliver high ethical standards including a Code of Conduct, Anti-Bribery and Corruption and a Whistleblower policy.
